The show must go on

This had to be quite a big surprise for Phoenix when the crowd invaded the stage during their gig in Vancouver on January the 22nd. But they never gave up, Thomas Mars kept on singing louder and louder, asking the crowd to put their hands in the air, turning an epic security fail into an amazing peripety these young dudes would never forget. Indeed, Thomas and his mates were very pleased by this emotional moment which is kind of a mega 'thank you' for everything this band has created all over their carreer, and a way to say 'you are the best, you sincerely deserve this Grammy Award you're going to win next week'. 9 minutes of Canadian joy.
Anyway, this may be named the Live 2.0 : when fans meet artists, le summum of interactions between kings and serfs, sky and ground, gods and believers. I think this concept actually needs to be developped, while now we are aware of the fact artists almost earn more money with tours than album sells.
