I like to live good

Just Another Day et Dual Income No Kids coupent radicalement avec ce qui précède.

A new musical dream is born : the Naive New Beat. It's a wonderful mix between Eurobelix's electro and his « boom box », Martin Luther BB King's rock and the leader David Boring's rap. Three french guys (David, with his very weird french accent, spent 10 years in L.A.) have met at college to form the Naive New Beaters, a band at the top for several months. Opening the concerts of The Kills in 2008 should have helped them to be known. Performing hot shows and amazing songs, these three guys have been running throughout France and Europe since the beginning of the year, with the release of their first album Wallace (free listening on deezer) on may 2009 as a target. The true goal was to make an album which was coherent and easy to listen, rather than publishing all they had in their pockets, told David.

Opening with L.A. Trumpets or the art of taking the crowd to high temperature, the album begins on hot wheels, launching Get Love (the anthem « Come give love because I can't give love » is known all over the world, but also all over The Sims world, watch the video below) and Live Good, with a clip full of special effects to watch above...

The refrain of Wow Now makes me drop a tear and I'm nearly reaching extasy when I ear the Can't Choose debut, that each lucky guy who have attended to a NNBs concert knows perfectly : Eurobelix is setting is magic box on this intro before each live performance, and this song is also the last of show, which is expected by all the crowd, everybody is scared to miss it, it's the top of the concert!

Just Another Day and Dual Income No Kids are radicaly different from the others. The first brings me on the beach, whistling a little melody and thinking of the last night in front of a very smoothy rising sun. The second one opens on a chorus, then the guitar of MLBBK is starting slowly, and to conclude David is stressing that is not number one, what is very contradictory with the opinion of young frenchs aged 12 to 25...

Farther, I find the trio swearing to Rio de Janeiro that they love her, before David starting to count the story of his life, and revealing he always dreamt of being an actor in Boring David (indeed, it has already happened when David was younger, but it's a secret!). And finally, The Last Badaboum, where the David Boring voice (is it trully him?) remixed completes a « pop-electro-rap » album to absolutely have in your cd library. But that's not all folks! The not initiated one would be very brillant to wait for the eighth minute of this last track to have a nice surprise!

I propose you three unreleased bonuses to listen and appreciate : two tracks from the (very) old Fat Love EP and a freaky remix of the Sayem's song World of Flowers (Sayem is a french dj and productor from Toulouse, and the original video of World of Flowers is so weird, dealing with strange dreams of the ten thousandths customer of a sex shop who is offered a hot present...)
